Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a COMSEC Manager to support Key Management Infrastructure operations onsite. You will manage COMSEC accounts, oversee daily KMI activities, and ensure compliance with NSA guidelines. Strong attention to detail and security mindset are essential.

Candidates must have a university degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, U.S. citizenship, and active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• University degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required and active Top Secret clearance is required prior to start date.
• KMI training certification.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily COMSEC support and oversee daily KMI account operations.
• Document accountability actions using KMI software.
• Perform Device Registration Manager (DRM) or Device Local Type 1 Registration (DLT1RA) activities.
• Perform KMI registration, initialization, and endorsements.
• Responsible for receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material.
• Process incoming/outgoing COMSEC shipments and conduct regular inventories.
