Job summary

Catania Oils, a fourth-generation family-owned business in the edible oils industry, seeks a Compliance Assistant in Ayer, MA to ensure timely document control and regulatory compliance. You will review supplier documentation, respond to documentation requests, and manage electronic records in our portal environment.

• Familiar with software portal environments (data entry)
• Knowledge of manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, or regulatory industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review supplier documentation in Trace Gains portal and maintain Supplier Registers with document expiration dates
• Fulfill customer requests for documentation (emails/customer portals)
• E-file records
• Maintain Controlled Documents in our DC software (SOPs, SSOPs, forms, work instructions) and create/revise through Change Order Process

What You'll Do

• Reviewing supplier documentation in Trace Gains portal (Maintain Supplier Registers with document expiration dates and make sure that all supplier docs are up to date)

Requirements

What You Bring

• Education minimum of an Associate's Degree in Business or a related field, or high school diploma/GED with 2 years of equivalent work related experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant field
• Familiar working in a software portal environment (data entry)
• Document review skills
• Administrative support skills
• Food manufacturing/pharmaceutical/legal/academia/regulatory industry experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, HACCP, GMP's, SSOP's and FSMA's Regulatory Landscape is a plus.
• Must be able to juggle multiple competing projects
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as food safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
