Job summary

Catholic Charities in San Francisco is seeking a Program Coordinator for CCSF Island Bay Homes. The role involves developing, coordinating, and evaluating a diverse calendar of educational, recreational, cultural, and wellness programs for residents of all ages.

Work is onsite five days a week. The coordinator collaborates with staff, volunteers, and community partners to promote social connection, lifelong learning, and resident well-being while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Four or more years of related experience and a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent OR Bachelor's degree in human services, adult education, or related field.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; leadership and teamwork abilities; strong written and verbal communication; knowledge of mandatory reporting for children; cross-cultural service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a calendar of educational, recreational, cultural, and wellness activities for residents across all ages.
• Coordinate tutoring, workshops, resume development, digital literacy, and enrichment activities.
• Plan intergenerational programming to promote community engagement and social connection.
• Collaborate with Program Director and Case Managers to identify resources and support for activities.
