Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will drive delinquency management, rent collection, and cash-flow optimization while supervising onsite staff.

As an onsite leader, you will ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines. Strong accounting basics and leasing oversight are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post all payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt including late notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
