Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and finances of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will help manage rent collection, budgets, and compliance, while guiding onsite staff and maintaining resident satisfaction.

The role requires a High School diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and basic computer skills, with knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA. Onsite presence and strong leasing capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; BA preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately, timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and send late notices; assist with evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and deposits.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance.
