Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager's supervision. You will manage rent collections, postings, and reporting to optimize cash flow on site in Fontana, CA.

As an onsite leader, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines, and support strategic leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts while maintaining excellent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to operate onsite property management software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with leasing, collections, and financial reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Post payments and income accurately from residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily account receivables.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and file evictions.
• Ensure the property meets budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI targets.
• Supervise staff, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
