Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Security Installer for on-site work in Las Vegas. You will install and program integrated security systems for commercial customers, dismantle and reconstruct equipment as needed, and coordinate with clients to verify schedules.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and delivering excellent customer service. The position offers a competitive hourly range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical school training is a plus.
• 3+ years electrical and electronic equipment experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and a fleet vehicle safely.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install devices and dismantle/reconstruct equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.
• Work safely and clean up installation debris; prevent injuries and property damage.
• Coordinate with customers before installation and verify schedule.
• Prepare estimates per supervisor instructions.
• Follow wiring diagrams and testing procedures to establish service.
• Read building electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
• May manage installation teams on larger projects.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
