Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking an onsite Skilled Trades Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring for CNC Machinists and related roles across our aerospace/defense manufacturing programs. You will source, screen, assess, and onboard candidates, partnering with site leaders to meet program timelines.

The role requires 4+ years of manufacturing recruiting, experience with ATS, and familiarity with CNC terminology. You will build relationships with technical training centers and manage the ATS pipeline,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, machining, or skilled trades.
• Experience using an ATS (UKG or UltiPro).
• Experience using sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages full-cycle recruitment for CNC Machinists and related skilled trades roles.
• Partners with site Manufacturing, HR, Production, and Engineering leaders to understand staffing needs and program timelines.
• Sources active and passive candidates via job boards, schools, apprenticeship programs, veteran programs, associations, and referrals.
• Screens resumes and conducts initial interviews to assess technical competency (GD&T, CNC tooling experience).
• Coordinates technical assessments and shop floor interviews with hiring managers.
• Manages candidate pipeline and ATS data with accuracy; extends offers and negotiates within bands.
• Builds relationships with trade schools and veteran programs to create a sustainable talent pipeline.
• Tracks recruiting metrics and stays current on wage benchmarks.
