Job summary

RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group, is seeking a Recruiter for a 6-month, on-site assignment in Chatsworth, CA. You will manage full recruitment life cycle, screen resumes, source passive candidates, and coordinate interviews, while partnering with managers and HR to balance candidate fit with budget.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, experience with ATS, LinkedIn and job boards, and the ability to move multiple candidates through the pipeline

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing full-cycle recruiting duties, including resume review, candidate sourcing, and use of an ATS.
• Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and similar platforms.
• Proven proficiency maintaining accurate recruiting documentation and records.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence.
• Comfortable and experienced conducting candidate prescreens by phone and video.
• Strong typing skills, with the ability to take detailed notes while screening candidates.
• Ability to develop strong interview questions that assess hard and soft skills.
• Sound judgment in assessing candidates for recommendation to the hiring team.

Responsibilities

• Working a full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location. This is a 6-month temp project with possibility for conversion.
• Reviews resumes and applications to determine qualifications for open positions.
• Proactively sources candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other platforms, crafting outreach messages and engaging passive candidates.
• Conducts prescreen interviews to evaluate qualifications, competencies, and goals, determining suitable positions and levels.
• Partners with hiring managers to present well-vetted candidate recommendations.
• Administers skills testing as part of the qualification process.
• Coordinates and manages onsite interviews through each stage of recruiting.
• Delivers feedback to keep the process moving efficiently.
