Job summary

Align Precision Corp. in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking an onsite Skilled Trades Recruiter responsible for full-cycle recruitment of CNC Machinists and related skilled trades across aerospace and defense manufacturing programs.

You will source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates, partnering with Manufacturing and HR leaders at multiple sites to meet staffing timelines and comply with ITAR/EAR requirements as applicable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, machining, or skilled trades.
• Strong communication and relationship-management across all levels.
• Ability to manage high-volume requisition load in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for CNC Machinists and related skilled trades.
• Partner with site leaders to understand staffing needs and program timelines.
• Source active and passive candidates via job boards, schools, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical competency.
• Coordinate assessments and shop-floor interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain ATS data accuracy and timeliness; ensure ITAR/EAR compliance when needed.
• Extend offers and manage pre-employment steps (background checks, drug screening).
