Job summary

Maverick Group US LLC in Buffalo, NY seeks a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools on site. The ideal candidate is mechanically and/or electrically inclined, with experience in industrial equipment repair and strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities include mechanical alignment, calibration of major subassemblies, electrical troubleshooting, and direct interaction with customers to resolve issues in collaboration with sales and home office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in repair and troubleshooting of computer-controlled industrial equipment.
• Willing to learn concepts and techniques in a manufacturing setting.
• Computer-literate with good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools with Fanuc controls.
• Mechanical replacement, alignment and calibration of spindle, headstock, ballscrew and turret components.
• Electrical/electronic troubleshooting; apply basic control theory.
• Interact with customers onsite and coordinate with sales/home office to resolve issues.
