Maverick Group US LLC in Buffalo, NY seeks a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools on site. The ideal candidate is mechanically and/or electrically inclined, with experience in industrial equipment repair and strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities include mechanical alignment, calibration of major subassemblies, electrical troubleshooting, and direct interaction with customers to resolve issues in collaboration with sales and home office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in repair and troubleshooting of computer-controlled industrial equipment.
• Willing to learn concepts and techniques in a manufacturing setting.
• Computer-literate with good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Service Technician opportunity based in Buffalo, NY with a highly regarded CNC Machine Tool company. Ideal candidate would be a current field service technician or a mechanically and/ or electrically inclined person willing to learn, a machinist or an individual in the manufacturing field. This role is an immediate opening due to service demand and expansion.

Duties

• Installation, troubleshooting, and repair on CNC machine tools such as 2 axis lathes and 3 axis mills with Fanuc controls
• Mechanical replacement, alignment and calibration of all major machine subassemblies such as spindle/ headstock, ballscrew, and tool turret/ post/magazine, servomotors.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting. Firm grasp of basic electrical control theory and industrial electronics.
• Interact directly with customers onsite, serving as a liasion with sales and home office to escal and resolve customer issues and complaints.

Experience

• 3-5 years hands on experience in the repair and troubleshooting of computer-controlled industrial equipment.
• Or mechanically and / or electrically inclined individual willing to learn new concepts and techniques.
• Or a machinist.
• Computer literate
• Good interpersonal communication skills
