Job summary
Froedtert Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Milwaukee hospital facility. The role is on-site (FTE 0.4) with a 16-hour shift pattern (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) on Shift 2, including holiday rotation and every 3rd weekend. Requires WI CNA certification or active nursing program enrollment and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required, or must be enrolled in a nursing program with documentation confirming completion of basic nursing course.
- American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated age-appropriate care in a culturally sensitive manner under RN supervision.
- Assist patients with tasks outlined by their clinical competency assessment related to basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services.
- Maintain safety and may provide continuous safety observation as assigned.
- Report to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and the on-duty RNs.
