Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide age-appropriate patient care under the supervision of registered nurses on an on-site unit. The role supports basic nursing and personal care, with duties aligned to the CNA competency assessment.

In addition to High School diploma or equivalent, Wisconsin CNA certification is required or enrollment in a nursing program with documentation of coursework. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required, or must be enrolled in a nursing program with documentation of basic nursing coursework.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with basic nursing skills and personal care per competency assessment.
• Support safety and assist on assigned unit shifts as needed.
