Job summary

Arab-American Family Support Center is hiring a Client Navigator to greet clients at the Queens Family Justice Center, conduct initial assessments, and guide them through the FJC service model. Qualifications

• Associate degree and at least two years of relevant work experience with survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.
• Demonstrates trauma-informed engagement practices and client-centered support.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in waiting areas and escort to private meeting space to explain FJC service model and conduct initial safety assessment.
• Create safety plans and connect clients to appropriate FJC services and partner agencies.
• Provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals; complete forms and communicate with partner staff.
