Job summary

Tutored by Teachers (TbT) is seeking a Ground Support Contractor to support Nashville-area classrooms on-site. You will help students log into the TbT platform, troubleshoot basic tech, and assist with classroom logistics.

The ideal candidate has classroom teaching experience and is comfortable with Chromebooks, iPads, and collaborating with teachers. This part-time contractor role starts in January, with hours aligned to program needs.

Qualifications

Former classroom teacher or classroom experience
Strong technology skills and the ability to troubleshoot tech issues efficiently, especially with Chromebooks and iPads
Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meets
Dependable
Effective communicator who collaborates seamlessly with students, school staff, and the TbT team
Able to commit to on-site work at one or more schools in Indianapolis during school hours
Access to car, maintain driver’s insurance, and ability to travel to school sites independently if you agree to do projects.

Responsibilities

Support students in logging into Tutored by Teachers.
Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during platform setup or use.
Provide on-the-ground support to students and teachers to ensure smooth implementation of the program.
Collaborate with school staff to address any technology or classroom management issues.
Communicate regularly with Tutored by Teachers Engagement Managers to keep them updated on how the engagements are running.
Ensure that all classroom technology (e.g., laptops, tablets) is functional and ready for use.
