Job summary

Tutored by Teachers (TbT) seeks a Ground Support Contractor to work on-site across Jackson area schools and parts of Louisiana. You will help students log in to the TbT platform, troubleshoot device issues, and support classroom logistics during tutoring sessions.

Ideal candidates have classroom experience, strong tech skills, and comfort with Chromebooks/iPads, Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. This part-time contractor role starts in Fall and runs through the school year.

Qualifications

Former classroom teacher or classroom experience.
Strong technology skills and the ability to troubleshoot tech issues efficiently, especially with Chromebooks and iPads.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meets.
Dependable.
Effective communicator who collaborates with students, school staff, and TbT team.
Able to commit to on-site work at one or more schools in the Jackson-area during school hours.
Access to a car, maintain driver’s insurance, and ability to travel to school sites independently if you accept projects.
Passionate about education.

Responsibilities

Support students in logging into Tutored by Teachers.
Troubleshoot technical issues during platform setup or use.
Provide on-the-ground support to students and teachers for smooth program implementation.
Collaborate with school staff to address technology or classroom management issues.
Communicate updates to TbT Partner Success Managers on engagement status.
Ensure classroom technology (laptops, tablets) is functional and ready for use.
