Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Temecula, CA is seeking engineering graduates to join our office in 2027. This is not a remote position. You will utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS and other tools to analyze and QC deliverables for our clients.

Ideal candidates will have an ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in Civil/Environmental or related fields and will contribute to pre-construction design, permitting, and coordination with project managers.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software.
Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
Collaborate across disciplines with project managers to realize client visions for the built environment.
Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
Learn software programs pertinent to disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
