Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Riverside, California office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers exposure to multiple civil projects.

You will use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and GIS to analyze, design, and QC deliverables, while learning regulatory requirements and collaborating across disciplines with project managers and clients. You'll develop skills across planning, permitting, and analysis, with mentorship and a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Engineering Technology also eligible.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Solve complex problems and assist project managers across disciplines.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations and client standards.
