Job summary

Sifted in Chicago is seeking an energetic Account Manager to serve as the on-site liaison for our client. You will launch and manage the full account across service lines, lead the front-of-house team, ensure food safety, and deliver regular performance updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, client services, or a similar role in hospitality or food service.
• Experience opening corporate dining concepts and creating processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapports quickly.
• Operational mindset with keen attention to detail and big-picture thinking.
• Ability to manage budgets and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole point of contact for the onsite client and maintain a long-term relationship.
• Oversee daily service operations, including breakfast and lunch, serving up to 450 guests daily.
• Implement best practices to streamline operations and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure client needs and expectations are understood and met through proactive communication.
• Lead, train, and develop the front-of-house team to align with brand values and client expectations.
• Standardize and maintain portion sizes across service lines.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on issues affecting the client experience.
• Support a scratch-cooking environment and menus across cuisines while accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Monitor spending to keep operations within budget and prepare regular client performance updates.
• Coordinate events beyond lunch service and manage catering communications across departments.
• Create and manage scheduling for hourly front-of-house staff and oversee event equipment.
• Ensure accurate signage for menus, ingredients, and allergens.
• Proven experience in account management within hospitality or food service.
