Job summary

Sifted is seeking an energetic Account Manager to serve as the on-site liaison for a major client in the NYC area. You will launch and manage the entire account, lead the front-of-house team, and ensure a seamless experience across service lines.

Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, managing budgets, providing regular performance updates, and coordinating events beyond lunch. Strong communication and leadership are essential, along with ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management, client services, or a similar role in hospitality or food service.
• Experience with opening corporate dining concepts and creating processes.
• Must maintain ServSafe Food Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as sole contact for onsite eatery client, building trust and clear communication.
• Implement and enforce best practices to streamline operations.
• Ensure client needs are understood and met through proactive communication.
• Lead, train and develop the front-of-house team to deliver brand-aligned service.
• Maintain standardized portion sizes.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to address issues and ensure food safety.
• Monitor spending and keep operations within budget.
• Prepare regular client performance reports and updates.
• Coordinate events outside lunch and manage catering orders across departments.
• Create and post schedules for hourly FOH staff.
• Assist with events equipment, decor, and storage spaces.
• Ensure accurate signage for menus, ingredients, allergens.
