Job summary

Northern Arizona Council of Governments seeks a qualified professional for an on-site role delivering critical social services across Flagstaff. You will conduct home visits, interview applicants, evaluate eligibility, and coordinate with clients to connect them with needed program services.

You will maintain electronic files, provide resource referrals, monitor service delivery for quality and compliance, and respond to public inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of social service experience or an equivalent combination.
• Strong communication, cultural competence and discretion are essential.
• Experience maintaining client records and navigating program regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts home visits and interviews applicants to assess eligibility for program services.
• Identifies services that best meet client needs and coordinates referrals.
• Maintains and updates electronic client files for accuracy and compliance.
• Advocates for clients to access comprehensive support services outside the agency.
• Monitors services to ensure high quality delivery and program compliance.
• Responds to public inquiries regarding program services.
