Job summary

IU Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking an experienced Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager to lead a critical clinical service line. This onsite, weekday role oversees multiple non-invasive services and chairs collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and hospital departments to drive exceptional patient care and outcomes.

The position emphasizes leadership, program development, and staff coordination within a large health system, with opportunities for expansion into evening/weekend rounding

Qualifications

• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and related advanced life support as per unit policy.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health; Master's preferred; or 5–7 years of commensurate leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and non-invasive technology.
• Business applications and marketing knowledge are expected.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department activities to ensure effective patient care services.
• Serve as liaison between department and physicians, nurses and other hospital units.
• Lead Imaging Holding, Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, EEG, EKG and Telemetry staff.
• Oversee shift planning; onsite Monday–Friday with potential evening/weekend rounding.
• Report to Service Line Administrator; manage 10 direct reports.
