Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round Business Tax Experts to join our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations. You will provide full-service tax preparation for individuals and business entities, acting as the primary contact and trusted advisor for clients in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will collaborate with bookkeeping specialists and utilize Intuit tools to deliver proactive tax guidance, planning, and software support while growing your local client base and maintaining a strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal and state business tax returns experience (1065/1120-S) for 20+ clients per season using commercial software.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation with 30 returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and willingness to upskill to QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
• Experience in business tax returns and year-round tax guidance for small businesses is highly desired.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses/certifications.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite 20+ hours per week in a TurboTax store.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver year-round support.
• Create a positive customer experience in-person and via Intuit tools.
• Lead local marketing efforts and community engagement as a TurboTax Expert.
• Engage new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
