Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Business Process Analyst Intern to support the Business Services Office by analyzing and improving operational workflows. You will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and process optimization to drive efficiency, automation, and actionable management insights.

The role involves assisting in dashboards, analyzing denials and balances, and collaborating on predictive models and automation projects.

Qualifications

Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
Familiarity with large data sets and data tables.
Exposure to programming tools such as R or Python preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Must be able to work onsite from January 11th, 2027 to April 30th, 2027.
Requiring a minimum of 24 hours to be worked and up to 40 hours per week onsite.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing dashboards and reports using business process data.
Analyze patient balances and denials to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Support data analysts in developing predictive models to enhance decision-making.
Participate in special projects focused on automation and process flow optimization.
