Encompass Health is seeking an Internship—Business Process Analyst Intern to support its Business Services Office. The role focuses on analyzing operational workflows, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights.

The internship provides hands‑on experience with data analysis, reporting, and process optimization in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting. Onsite work is required at our Land O’ Lakes, FL location, with 24–40 hours per week from January 11, 2027 to April 30, 2027,

Qualifications

• Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with large data sets and data tables.
• Exposure to programming tools such as R or Python preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work onsite from January 11th, 2027 to April 30th, 2027
• Requiring a minimum of 24 hours to be worked and up to 40 hours per week onsite

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing dashboards and reports using business process data.
• Analyze patient balances and denials to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support data analysts in developing predictive models to enhance decision-making.
• Participate in special projects focused on automation and process flow optimization.
