Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring an Operating Engineer to maintain and operate building systems at our Cincinnati, OH properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitor HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least four years in building maintenance, a trade school HVAC/electronics degree or union training, universal CFC certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least four years in building maintenance.
• Trade school HVAC/electronics or related trade; union training acceptable.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair and operation of mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment.
• Control daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the building, including HVAC, boilers, pumps and refrigeration.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment rounds; complete tenant service requests.
• Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves and motors to ensure proper operation.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and safety training.
