Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. You will work with audio and language data to build high-quality, well-structured datasets for model training.

This 100% onsite role requires Brazilian Portuguese fluency, strong communication, and meticulous, repeatable work practices. Location options include multiple US cities; compensation includes a $28/hour pay rate and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
• Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior; identify patterns, edge cases, failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
