Welo Data seeks detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems onsite across major U.S. cities.

The role focuses on producing high-quality, well-structured language data for model training, with emphasis on accuracy and consistency. Candidates should have native-level Brazilian Portuguese, strong written skills, and at least 1 year in data labeling or a related field, or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks beyond execution.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, actionable way.
