Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to join Welo Data, supporting speech and voice AI systems. This full-time onsite role focuses on building high-quality datasets from audio and language data, with emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and scalable processes.

Candidates must be located in or able to commute to one of the listed cities. You will work 40 hours per week at $28/hour under a W2 arrangement, with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
• Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or related content work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior to identify patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team calibrations and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings clearly and concisely.
