Welo Data is hiring Data Labeling Analysts for a 100% onsite role focused on supporting speech and voice AI systems. You will work with audio, speech, and language data to build high-quality datasets, ensuring accuracy and representativeness for model training.

The position requires native-level Brazilian Portuguese, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow guidelines in a structured environment. Full-time, 40 hours per week, onsite in major cities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
• Familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior; identify patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag discrepancies with real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
