Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Ops Intern for 100% onsite work. You will learn daily branch operations, including loan origination, processing, closings, and funding, while engaging with leaders and teams to explore career paths within the company.

You will be mentored through an accelerated program, with potential for full-time employment after graduation, and you will gain exposure to compliance training, the Republic Way sales approach, and various cross-department projects.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily branch operations including loan origination, processing, closings and fundings
• Participate in regulatory training and loan process learning
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects
• Learn about corporate roles where branch backgrounds are valued
