Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is seeking Branch Operations Interns (onsite) to learn daily branch functions and broader organization opportunities while gaining real-world, hands-on experience in loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.

Interns will participate in accelerated training for licensing, attend regional meetings, and explore career paths across Branch Operations and affiliated corporate roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing (voluntary insurance products).Eligibility is based on a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP learning responsibilities at their levels to understand promotional path.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting) and overview of benefits.
