The role emphasizes accurate financial management, P&L/balance sheet expertise, and collaboration with leadership to support budgeting and month-end close activities. On-site reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
• Proficiency with Excel for organizing and analyzing financial data.
• Solid understanding of P&L statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Experience with bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and record daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts regularly for accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting with leadership.
• Post journal entries and assist with month-end close processes.
