Aston Carter is hiring for a Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will interact with accounting, operations, and HR, handling AP, AR, payroll, month-end close, and related tasks.

The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently on-site in Auburn, WA. If you thrive on variety and ownership, this position offers growth and development within the accounting function.

Competenze

• 5+ years of combined AP, AR, payroll, and/or general accounting experience, including at least 4 years of direct AP, AR, or general accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with invoice processing and general ledger coding.
• Experience supporting payroll for a workforce of approximately 100 employees.

Mansioni

• Process accounts payable invoices, match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, and code expenses to the general ledger.
• Prepare weekly AP check runs and maintain vendor records.
• Manage corporate credit card transactions, including coding, payments, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts receivable invoices and customer payments accurately and on time.
• Assist with customer and vendor billing questions, credits, and collections.
• Support biweekly payroll for approximately 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with month-end close, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare documentation supporting financial statements and audit requests.
• Cross-train in benefits administration, onboarding, and employee leave processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
