GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to evaluate, diagnose, repair and perform planned maintenance on customer basic biomedical equipment at customer sites in the Houston, TX area. The role involves following hospital protocol, documenting actions, and maintaining strong customer relations through service excellence.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, PMs, environment/safety inspections, and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR GEHC internship or apprenticeship program; OR HS diploma with 2+ years field servicing experience.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, repair and perform PM on basic biomedical equipment under supervision.
• Assist more experienced technicians on basic and more complex repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and teammates to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and document actions.
• Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
