Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support onsite field operations in Sullivan, IN. The role focuses on design coordination and install of MEP systems, requiring hands-on BIM software proficiency and coordination with design teams and trade partners.

The ideal candidate will manage clash detection, data exchange standards, and field-to-model alignment, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality documentation and asset data for handover.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Revit, ACC, Procore, and Bluebeam is required.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, submittals, and coordination drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability, sequencing, RFIs, submittals, and turnover docs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical BIM advisor in onsite field office.
• Lead BIM setup, standards, and coordination for project phases.
• Establish data exchange standards for BIM utilization in scheduling and estimating.
• Perform clash detection and constructability checks to identify conflicts and risks.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Support field coordination, installation planning, sequencing, and handover data encoding.
• Assist with RFIs, design clarifications, submittals, and shop drawing coordination.
