Job summary

Washington Water Service in Puyallup, WA is seeking an Associate Customer Service Representative to provide frontline support to customers, balance cash daily, and process payments. You will handle in-person and phone inquiries about billing, payments, conservation, and water quality, and enter data with speed and accuracy.

This on-site role operates Monday to Friday, with 11:00am–7:30pm or 10:00am–6:30pm shifts depending on daylight saving.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Five years of customer service experience in an administrative or clerical capacity.
• Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Balance and complete a daily cash report.
• Takes customer orders and provides high-quality customer service as necessary.
• Assists customers in person and by phone with billing, payments, conservation, and water quality.
• Enters data into the computer with speed and accuracy.
• Performs routine clerical work including filing, scanning, and processing payments.
• Performs major cashiering duties including accepting payments and deposits.
• Updates customer accounts as needed.
