Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Five years of customer service experience in an administrative or clerical capacity
• Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant and professional manner
• Must be available to work extended hours as required for customer needs
• Valid State Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and provide high-quality customer service as necessary
• Assists customers in person and by phone, addressing questions regarding billing, payments, conservation, and water quality
• Enters data into the computer as required with speed and accuracy
• Performs major cashiering duties, including taking payments in person, processing credit card payments, balances individual cash drawers, and prepares bank deposits
• Updates customer accounts as needed
• Corresponds with customers regarding metered billing status
