Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Sanitas Experience Specialist to be the onsite representative within designated Sanitas clinics in Sugar Land, TX. You will assist members with eligibility, benefits, claims, and provider access, and collaborate with clinic staff to resolve issues at the point of care.

This full-time role requires 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Travel within a 30-mile radius may be needed 2-4 times per month; bilingual English/Spanish is required to serve a diverse member base and improve

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2+ years in healthcare, health plan operations, member service, provider service, clinic operations, or related experience.
• Experience working directly with customers, members, patients, providers, or external partners.
• Knowledge of healthcare benefits, eligibility, claims, referrals, or authorization processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite UnitedHealthcare representative within assigned Sanitas clinics.
• Assist members with eligibility, benefits, claims, billing, provider access, referrals, authorizations, and other plan-related questions.
• Resolve member issues at the point of care when possible.
• Coordinate with internal UnitedHealthcare teams to manage member escalations.
• Educate members on health plan resources, digital tools, and support services.
• Support community outreach, enrollment events, and broker activities as needed.
• Partner with clinic staff to resolve operational issues affecting patient care and administrative processes.
• Coordinate with UnitedHealthcare teams to facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Build relationships with clinic leadership to enhance the UHC-Sanitas partnership.
