Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of healthcare or health plan operations experience.
• Experience working with customers, members, or providers.
• Knowledge of benefits, eligibility, claims, referrals, or authorizations.
• Problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Full-time availability during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite UnitedHealthcare representative within designated Sanitas clinics.
• Assist members with eligibility, benefits, claims, billing, provider access, referrals, authorizations, and other plan-related questions.
• Resolve member issues at the point of care whenever possible.
• Coordinate with internal UnitedHealthcare teams to manage escalations.
• Educate members on health plan resources and digital tools.
• Support broker activities and community enrollment events as needed.
• Partner with clinic staff to resolve operational issues affecting patient care.
• Coordinate with UnitedHealthcare teams to facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Identify recurring pain points and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
