Job summary

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support back-office operations for a premier commercial banking institution in Brea, CA. You will handle ACH processing, account reconciliations, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate ledgers.

This role requires 2–5+ years in bank operations, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with core banking platforms and Excel. Onsite work in Brea is required with Direct W2 employment.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in bank operations or back-office processing.
• Strong working knowledge of banking products, ACH/payment clearing, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• ACH processing, returns, adjustments, encoding errors, and chargebacks; review large items ($5,000+).
• Reconcile RITS/Official Check balances; manage GL certifications and Lockbox deposits.
• Support IRS backup withholding, year-end tax reporting, escheatment, and Reg CC reviews.
