Job summary

JMARK is seeking a temporary IT Support Specialist Contractor to serve as the onsite IT resource in Seneca, KS for a banking client. The role focuses on evaluating and supporting day-to-day IT activities, providing training to internal staff and clients, and keeping them updated with new technologies.

The position starts immediately and runs until September 30, 2026, with potential travel assistance for candidates outside the immediate area. Onsite full-time Monday–Friday is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year working in a technical operating capacity.
• Experience on help desk tickets or desktop support preferred.
• Banking or financial environment experience preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT/Desktop functions for ~150 users.
• Respond to IT requests via calls, emails, and tickets.
• Assist team members with resolving IT issues.
• Assist Clients with customer service for personal devices.
• Handle hardware issues: desktops, laptops, copiers, printers, peripherals.
• Educate staff with IT solutions and best practices.
• Escalate cases to IT support provider when needed.
• Develop processes to deliver quality end-user service.
• Stay updated on new technologies.
