Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Tampa team onsite four days per week on a 12-month contract. In this hands-on role, you will support a large-scale Azure environment and help drive reliability, security, automation, and evolution of cloud infrastructure.

You will design and manage Azure infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and work across networking, security, governance, and identity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering or related field with strong hands-on Azure experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC for reusable deployments.
• Strong DevOps/CI-CD practices with Azure DevOps, Git, and Azure CLI.
• Experience with Azure networking, security, governance, and identity (RBAC, Entra, MFA, PIM).
• Automation scripting with PowerShell and cloud-native tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Build and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform for automated deployments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and Azure CLI.
• Support Azure networking, security, governance, and identity components.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to implement automation and cloud best practices.
• Work onsite in Tampa four days per week.
