Job summary

Utilities Company in Tampa, FL is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a 1-year contract to design, implement and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure with emphasis on IaC, automation, and security controls.

You will work on Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and governance components, using Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting. On-site 4 days/week in Tampa, FL is required.

Qualifications

• Azure experience with IaC/DevOps and Terraform.
• Azure Compute and Storage capabilities.
• Azure Networking including Virtual WAN and Private endpoints.

Compensation: Pay = $80/Hr - $83/Hr

Location: On Site 4 days a week - Tampa, FL

Experience:

• Azure experience and strong IaC/DevOps/Terraform experience.
• Azure Compute and Storage
• Azure Networking - Virtual WAN, Private endpoints and Hybrid connectivity
• Azure Governance and Security - Azure Polices, Role based access control, Azure Advisor, Secure score, Defender for Cloud
• Azure Infrastructure as Code and Automation - Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Terraform, Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting
• Azure Operations and Management - Azure Monitor, Azure Backup
• Azure Identity and Access Management - Hybrid identity, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
• Azure design principles (nice to have) - Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
