Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (AGS) in Orlando is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician II to perform maintenance, testing, repairs, and modifications of electronic equipment in accordance with FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years electronics repair experience.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and compliance.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level per FAA regulations.
• Modify and maintain equipment using service bulletins and schematics.
• Perform repairs independently or with technicians, following schedules and procedures.
• Review work orders and ensure customer requests are fulfilled before release.
• Complete quality and production documentation and maintain maintenance records.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and participate in training on test equipment.
