The position requires reading technical literature, following procedures, and maintaining accurate repair records. It supports ongoing repair operations and enables dependable product performance in a busy FAA Repair Station

Qualifications

• Six months of soldering experience with surface-mount and through-hole techniques.
• Ability to read and understand technical literature, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during repair and soldering.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install electronic components on multilayer PCBs using SMT and through-hole techs, modify equipment per service bulletins.
• Prepare PCBs for modification by wiring links, adhesives, and IC location changes.
• Perform solder repair and modification with experienced team and established procedures.
• Follow detailed instructions; work reviewed by senior technicians or QA inspectors.
• Complete quality and production documentation and maintain maintenance records.
• Complete repairs in accordance with ISO procedures and quality requirements.
