Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (AGS) in Orlando, FL is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician II to perform intermediate electronic maintenance, testing, repairs, and modifications in accordance with FAA regulations.

You will apply your troubleshooting skills to identify faults and verify equipment performance, supporting reliable operation and compliance with established procedures. The role may require second shift and weekend availability, plus a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with electronics repair experience.
• Understanding of FAA regulations and ability to document maintenance activities.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic equipment to component level per FAA regulations and IPM.
• Modify equipment per service bulletins and manufacturer documentation.
• Work independently or with team, with reviews by senior technicians and inspectors.
• Review work orders, prepare estimates, and document production and maintenance activities.
• Communicate with cross‑functional teams to support repair processes.
