Job summary

Universal Avionics is seeking an Electronic Technician II for our Repair Station in Tucson, AZ. You will troubleshoot avionics LRUs down to the circuit level, read schematics, and verify repairs using test equipment.

The role supports a team that inspects, tests, and overhauls LRUs, with a focus on accuracy and root-cause analysis. You will work on-site with a team, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements, while maintaining documentation and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting or manufacturing support.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents to guide work.
• Experience with electronic test equipment and automated test systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics LRUs to the circuit board level.
• Read and interpret schematics and repair documentation to guide work.
• Use test equipment to diagnose faults and verify results.
• Evaluate electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics of ICs and components.
• Document testing, findings, and repairs in company systems.
• Follow procedures and safety/regulatory requirements while meeting delivery commitments.
