Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to deliver world-class customer service at client sites. You will set up and maintain AV spaces, perform preventative maintenance, and provide end-user training on AV technology.

Role requires travel to various sites, after-hours flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Logitech, Extron, Crestron systems, and networking is preferred. Medical benefits and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Advanced computer knowledge on Windows/Mac platforms.
• Solid understanding of AV signal flow, hardware, and networking.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and perform after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AV hardware and verify systems work as designed.
• Clean AV equipment including lenses, monitors, and fans.
• Provide job-site documentation and user training on AV technology.
• Troubleshoot and support AV systems, including video/audio tasks.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams and adhere to safety standards.
• Travel to multiple customer sites as required.
